Vishal and I just finished our game.
Only glaring thing we noticed was, that it was very easy to run the ball.
Both our backs had 200+ yds and they are mediocre players. From what is listed above there were no changes made to sliders that affect the running game..
Anyways, just an observation.
Other than that, I found the gameplay pretty spot on and realistic.

From what I read on operation sports, the sliders are only in affect for user versus cpu games. They said the sliders default to 50 for everything for user versus user games. Can anyone confirm this?

I wonder if that means the penalty sliders and auto sub setting default to their original settings also?

each owner cant set auto-subs theirselves in the team gameplan section.

After everyone has played a few games versus the cpu give me some feedback good or bad so we can make sure we have the best possible settings. Are the penalties being called more often because there were rarely any at all before. Is the difficulty for run and pass feel realistic. We have to keep in mind the lower overall rated teams when making changes so we don't make it impossible for them to beat better teams.

Jeremy suggested lowering the cpu running ability. I think that might be a good idea.

also, it seemed the CPU knew beforehand every time i was going to run the ball, they stacked the box every time.

it is really amazing how the cpu "cheats".
I come out in 4 wide with a dive play selected and they stack the box but if i do a simple formation audible to pass they back off and if i formation audible back to a run they stack again. Its so blatant.
Also discovered if you want the CPU to run the ball play after play after play simply "PLAY THE PASS" and they will run the ball 9 out of 10 times. EA needs to do a better job on hiding how the cpu really does know our play calls and actually calls plays to attack the weakneses.

I definitely got cheated against Georgia. They made a play just when they needed it every time and beat me in overtime. Cost me a shot to get to the NC. I'm not sure how to adjust the sliders to fix that though.

I'm not sure there is anything we can change that would address what you guys are talking about. We can lower CPU RB Ability and Rush Defense and increase user RB Ability and Rush Defense. Also it seems like the User and CPU QB Accuracy should be decreased because we are throwing for too many yards without as many pass attempts. I will try these out later and see how they play. Try playing at least some against a good cpu opponent and let me know how it plays. If nobody tries it out beforehand then we won't know until we have to play another dynasty game against the cpu so it's good to catch and try to fix right now.

OK Dave, I played against LSU last week and the CPU was ridiculous. I'm not saying I should have automatically beat LSU, but a couple times in the game it was crazy how they scored. I do think the QB accuracy was way to high, because Jordan Jefferson looked like Peyton Manning out there. Also the thing that killed me the most was the fact that I called a good defensive play and was in position 4 or 5 times to make a tackle on someone like Russell Sheppard and the CPU would make an amazing juke and spin and go 80 yds.. I remember 1 specific instance where it was 3rd and 15 so I backed off the cbs and safeties, well Sheppard ran a curl route and I saw where he was going with the ball so I took control of the CB to make a form tackle in the back.................well apparently he has eyes in the back of his head casue he juked just as he caught the ball and escaped the tackle of 2 other people on the way to the endzone.
I say you tweek the sliders like you have above and we'll go with that.
On a side note, I should get my game in on Friday night.

I ran the ball 34 times for a 3.4 yd average. I would still think USER running needs a little more help.

I think maybe we should play another week before we adjust the sliders again so we can get a better picture of how they are working. Jeremy, before I saw your post I was thinking that I went too far in reagards to improving the user running game because I had increased User RB ability by 5 and decreased CPU defense by 5. Just looking at the games against the cpu this week most people ran for a lot of yards with only a few carries. Socbe mentioned something about thinking we went too far in decreasing User QB pass accuracy.
I will test out some changes in the sliders tonight or tommorrow night to see what I find out.
