I dont know about this... but what I do know is that every time my QB attempts a pass he gets hit after the ball is gone... Increasing the CPU pass defense.. will probably help them jump routes more and I already struggle with my best WR's dropping wide open passes.

It seems that I get killed too by cpu defenses. It also seems that those of us with better teams are not having this problem though I think

I can no longer beat the CPU with our current sliders. They always seem to know exactly the defense I am going to run and pick a play that attacks the weakness. Blitz or no blitz, man or zone, I simply cannot stop them. Then when I somehow manage to get back in the game, I fumble. Its unbelieveable. No matter how hard I play, the AI just refuses to be beat. I am almost to the point of just super simming my CPU games.

I think this might have to do with whatever the newest patch did that was released on Tuesday. I was destroyed by Clemson. Even though they are a much better team, I was in panic mode the whole game just scrapping by to get anything going

Do you guys think these sliders are harder than just playing on Heisman? Maybe we should just switch to Heisman in the offseason. As far as the pass D goes, we were looking at games like Houston vs. Texas where Keenum threw for 800 yards, etc.

Maybe we should just lower the cpu running game. I do wonder what kind of effect the new patch will have. I'm not sure if the sliders will have to be re-adjusted because of the patch. I'm glad you guys gave your opinions because the lower rated teams should factor into the sliders.

Playing on Heisman would make it impossible for teams like USF and Wake Forest to beat a Texas, or Florida.

Current Sliders:
Quote: QB Accuracy 45 50 Pass Blocking 45 45 WR Catching 50 50 RB Ability 40 60 Run Blocking 45 60 Pass Coverage 45 50 Pass Rush 50 50 Interceptions 40 40 Rush Defense 40 55 Tackling 50 50 FG Power 45 45 FG Accuracy 50 50 Punt Power 45 45 Punt Accuracy 50 50 Kickoff Power 40 40
New Sliders:
QB Accuracy 45 50 Pass Blocking 45 45 WR Catching 50 50 RB Ability 40 55 Run Blocking 45 55 Pass Coverage 45 50 Pass Rush 50 50 Interceptions 40 40 Rush Defense 40 55 Tackling 50 50 FG Power 45 45 FG Accuracy 50 50 Punt Power 45 45 Punt Accuracy 50 50 Kickoff Power 40 40
Changes in bold. I decreased the cpu RB run ability and the cpu run blocking. I didn't increase cpu pass defense. USF and Wake Forest let me know how the sliders are after you games.
Hopefully this gets them to where they need to be, but I'm not sure how hte latest patch has affected the gameplay so additional changes may be required.
The changes I made only affects games versus the CPU. There was only one game versus the CPU that was already played and they won.
A few people have asked me about roughing the passer not being called on the CPU so I increased that from 50 to 60 which means that the penalty will be called more often.

We should look to play Heisman next season.
Every week the CPU will be a battle...

My last game of the season was against a human opponent, so I won't know until next season how the sliders are.

New sliders and penalty setting in affect for season 2. Speed threshold was lowered from 50 to 40. Please give me your feedback good or bad. Auto subs were changed so that players are subbed in and out realistically. If you are deep at a particular position it will rotate those players and it will sub for fatigued players which it wasn't doing before.
Changes are in bold.
