First year starter Andrew Clifford leads the NCAA with a 215.0 passer rating. He has completed 63% of his passes for over 1,400 yards, 16 touchdowns and ZERO interceptions. In fact, the Gamecocks have yet to commit a turnover all year, while forcing 16 of their own. Senior wide receiver Alshon Jeffrey leads the nation in receiving yards and touchdowns and as a result, leads the Heisman voting as well. Junior running back Marcus Lattimore is second in the nation in rushing and adds great balance to the offense. The 'Cocks are off to a hot 5-0 start, with only one of those games at home. Coach Steve Spurrier thinks this is the best team he's had since arriving at South Carolina. This team's mentality right now is National Championship or bust. There's a lot of football to be played, but the chatter in Columbia is heating up.

Lattimore and Jeffrey are both guys that frighten me when i had to play South Carolina in the past. It sounds like they are even better now.
