The Cocks return most of their starters on offense, including Senior quarterback Stephen Garcia and his weapons at receiver and running back. Garcia has been working in the offseason on his accuracy. "Certainly, you want to complete a high percentage of your passes. I was just a little over 50% last year, which in my opinion is pretty bad." Garcia certainly has the help to do it. Alshon Jeffrey leads a group of very talented, and very tall, wide receivers. Garcia has been working to get the ball higher where his 6'4 and above receivers can go up and get it. He will also be helped by Sophomore running back Marcus Lattimore. Lattimore had a great Freshman campaign, and is looking for an even bigger Sophomore year. He'll be running behind an experienced and talented offensive line, led by Senior left tackle Kyle Nunn. Defensively, the Cocks are strongest in the secondary. That should allow defensive coordinator socbe7 to bring heavy pressure with his front seven and drop an eighth man in the box to stop the run.
